These work great once installed. The trick is getting the flap on the insole opened, which was not easy and the flap tore during the process. Once the flap was opened, the install was easy but the flap in my right shoe isn't nicely sealed as it was damaged. With the removable foam insole replaced you can tell or feel the damage below, but seriously, make it easier to open that flap.

so when it's done, the system is great. stainless steel plate so teh pedal is on a slick surface. really nice fit of cleat to shoe. Now, about betting the adapter in the shoe. takes some time and care. the mid sole has a cutout, with a few small bits to cutm but the material is tough and takes some care and time. when done, the final product rocks

Gives me ultimate platform for fine tuning cleat placement for proper fit.

Difficult to install, but once placed inside the sole, work flawlessly!
