NORTHWAVE EXTREME PRO 3

I have the Pro 4’s in black and wanted the all white..I got the all white alright..but the Extreme Pro 3 model..totally different.very dissatisfied
Ps.this are my 10th n 11th pair of NW respectively

Things I like:
Power transfer is great: As expected with a carbon sole, the stiffness is great and responsiveness out of the saddle or on the foot of a climb is top notch.
Breathability: took these on a solid threshold ride in 80° weather and my feet stayed relatively cool. At least I think so. I was driving home and realized I needed to take my shoes off after a couple miles. Clearly they were comfortable enough to forget to take them off.
Things I don't like:
Closure system is awfully annoying: the concept is great, and don't get me wrong, the incremental loosening is great for relief when your feet need an adjustment, but taking the shoes off is a headache. It's a two hand job to loosen each dial, and you kind of have to bounce between them to do it comfortably.
Heel feels shallow: I ordered the same size as with another pair of fiziks, and the length feels right, but the heel feels like it's rounding before my heel ends. Makes the shoe feel really tight on the heel/talus.
Aside: tried to add my bodygeo insoles and the shoe was too shallow for them. So far the shoes feel nice enough without them, but the provided insoles are soft and useless. I'm afraid anything sturdy might not fit well.

I paid for the extreme pro 3 and i receive the extreme Gt4!!!
Its not the same quality and price

Northwave cycling shoes are the best I've ever tried. I have the Revolution 2 and the Extreme GT3, the latter were purchased about a month ago. Had the first ride with the Extreme GT3
one week ago and these shoes are awesome! I've owned most, if not all, of the other big brands, and none of them compare to Northwave. My Feet have high arches, not narrow but not wide at the balls, and short toes.
I love Northwave so much that upon being notified of their Father's Day Sale, I bought a further pair, this time the Extreme Pro 3. The arch support on the Northwave shoes are phenomenal!
I have no hesitation in recommending Northwave shoes.

Have been riding and racing since 1980. The Extreme Pro 3 shoes are some of the best I’ve ever worn. Simple, Sturdy, Stiff and Supportive. No need to ask for more. I’ve owned top brands and these are among the best. Sizing is consistent within the N W line. Well constructed and a quality product.
