This new winter shoe is developed for all trail types. Also suggested for e-biking and commuting. The explorer sole ensures excellent power transmission to the pedal area and the Michelin rubber tread, 28% stronger than the TPU, guarantees excellent grip on all terrains.
Designed for deep winter sessions and with a 200g Primaloft gold insulation ECO thermal padding derived from recycled material, the X- MAGMA CORE guarantees exceptional thermal insulation and breathability.
A foot that stays warm and dry, even in extremely cold conditions. This is thanks to the additional lining on the tip of the foot and the new Easyfit collar, which guarantees major protection and surprising mobility.
The overlap construction, made with the most innovative materials, uniformly wraps the foot without any pressure points, helping to transfer every watt of power and eliminating the dispersion of energy.
The TPU reinforced tip and a comfortable and uniform closure are enabled by the SLW3 dial, the only one with a step-by-step release, which allows a millimetric adjustment of the shoe closure in a fast and intuitive way.
The integrated heel seat with directional fiber inner material prevents the lift of the heel, while the Arctic 4Layer insole (Eva/Aluminum/Eva/Pile), together with the Lasting Board Thermal Shield (EVA / Aluminum) create efficient thermal insulation.
For added safety, the 360 reflective inserts guarantee excellent visibility on the road.

No More Cold Feet

Have worn these a few times; warm and comfy. Much better than booties or over shoes. For what it’s worth - based on size guide was 42 but I wear 44 in P.Izumi and Louis Garneau. Talked to a few people and went with 44.5 to allow for thick wool socks and/or extra insole for cold winter rides…great fit.

Toasty Toes

Super comfortable, warm to 32 degrees. Feet tend to get cold and these do the trick.

Great winter boot for MTB

I really like these I am replacing 10 year old boots that I did not like I rode a cold 22d ride and they were comfortable and warm.

Treat Your Toes to These Beauties!

Unafraid of sub zero gravel rides, I was looking for something that could truly keep my feet warm in "any" weather. After several winters of using road shoes with toe warmers and neoprene booties that would suffice for an hour or two but still leave me with numb piggies on longer rides, I'm happy to say I have found my dream winter shoe. Even with a regular sock, these Northwave X- Magma Core boots will keep you warm in temps down to 20 F. Swap in a battery powered heated sock and you can ride for 4+ hours at 0F and still have warm toes when you get home! Just be sure to layer ever other part of your body and swap your cycling glasses for ski goggles as well.

So far love these

I've been out mountain biking in these on several NW rainy days and my feet have stayed toasty and dry. I'm able to wear a fairly thick wool sock which some of my other winter shoes have been to narrow to accomplish. Love the SLW3 system as easy to adjust while on the bike.
